Simon Says Childrens Challenge

I have made another card for the Simon Says Childrens Challenge.

The stamp is Gorjuss Girls "The Owl" and I have coloured it with promarkers and added some stickles.  I mounted it onto an embossed piece of white card and some Bo Bunny paper.

I have also entered it into a competition at The Papeterie which is a local craft shop and they will donate it to charity.

"Less is More" plus "Simon Says" Challenges

I made this card yesterday for the "Simon Says Stamp Special Children's Challenge" (thanks Rica for telling me about this challenge) but my mum pointed out it also fits this weeks "Less is More Challenge" so I'm entering it into both.

I have made a scrappling using kraft card.  I stamped the butterflies then coloured them with distress inks.  I then added glitter to the wings.

All my own design and work.

Less is More week 11

This week the "LiM" Challenge is to use acetate.

Here is the card I made,

As you can see I have used the Tim Holtz "Caged Bird" die.

I have backed the cage with acetate. I have used distress inks to colour the bird and cage and I have distressed the card.

Distressed "Less is More"

This card was going to be for the Less is More challenge.  I was just going to distress the edges a little but I got a bit too carried away! Lol!  I also spilled some water on it which made the distress ink run and turn yellow.  So instead of 'clean and simple' it's now 'aged and vintage'!

Thought I would post it anyway but I'm not entering it into the challenge. I'll try again next week.

LIM #9 and Mother's Day cards

I thought I would enter into the Less is More challenge this week because my mum enters every week and I thought I would give it a go.

The challenge is "a touch of red" so here is my entry:

I stamped the image in black then coloured with promarkers.  I then added glossy accents to the coloured bits.  I distressed the edges and mounted it onto red card.

And this is the card  I made for Mother's Day:

Again, I coloured the image with promarkers and added some stickles.
