This is a really last minute entry for the Beach/Seaside theme over at the ATC Challenge Blog.
I coloured the ATC with distress inks for the sea, then printed out a photo of sand and layered it on top. I then stamped shells onto card and clear shrink plastic.
The stamp is Gorjuss Girls "The Owl" and I have coloured it with promarkers and added some stickles. I mounted it onto an embossed piece of white card and some Bo Bunny paper.
I have also entered it into a competition at The Papeterie which is a local craft shop and they will donate it to charity.
This card was going to be for the Less is More challenge. I was just going to distress the edges a little but I got a bit too carried away! Lol! I also spilled some water on it which made the distress ink run and turn yellow. So instead of 'clean and simple' it's now 'aged and vintage'!
Thought I would post it anyway but I'm not entering it into the challenge. I'll try again next week.
I thought I would enter into the Less is More challenge this week because my mum enters every week and I thought I would give it a go.
The challenge is "a touch of red" so here is my entry:
I stamped the image in black then coloured with promarkers. I then added glossy accents to the coloured bits. I distressed the edges and mounted it onto red card.
And this is the cardI made for Mother's Day:
Again, I coloured the image with promarkers and added some stickles.
Hope you like my cards and hope I am old enough to enter the challenge!
Hey bloggers,
I would like to share a card with you that I made ages ago for the first week of the Less is More challenge however I was too late in posting my entry. The theme was black, white & pink.
I made this card using:
Hero arts "XOXO" stamp
a 5x5 card
"Angus" by Sugar Nellie
Coloured with promarkers
